摩托罗拉系统成都研发中心主要负责摩托罗拉在政府和公共安全业务领域相关产品的软件研发，在数字信号处理(DSP)，嵌入式软件和Windows应用软件方面具有雄厚的研发能力。自中心成立以来，为摩托罗拉政府和公共安全业务设计、研发了多款产品。8 w) I+ Y/ o( f0 t. Y, l
2003-2005年，针对中国公安市场需求特点完成了PTX760集群对讲机的汉化及应用软件开发，并为全球市场完成商用系列常规对讲机(GP3188/ GP3688/ GM3188/ GM3688) 软件部分的开发。并于2005年为中国铁道部量身定制了适合铁路系统使用的GP3688对讲机软件。2007年同美国、马来西亚研发中心一同开发了摩托罗拉第一款基于DMR标准的常规数字对讲机MOTOTRBO。: t0 ]1 h9 ]; @6 w. A' w
2008年，独立承担了摩托罗拉MTR3000中继台的软件开发，MTR3000为MOTOTRBO家族提供了除了低端商用DR3000之外的中级商用中继台产品。同年，参与开发的摩托罗拉第四代基于P25网络的多波段高端对讲机APX7000成功上市,它的应用让高端客户的应急通信系统跨上了一个新的台阶。5 ]3 d' K% E* L% @" k/ [1 S
2009年，成都研发中心成立第一支硬件开发团队，并建立了硬件开发测试实验室。2010年，摩托罗拉在成都研发中心成立TETRA网络基础设施开发团队。同年，软件中心团队还实现了MTR3000产品对UHF/800/900/VHF频段的广泛支持,并成功全球上市。
