Job Title:
OSS Software Engineer – development or testing

General Purpose:
Work as Software Engineer in OSS R&D team, responsible for S/W Design, Implementation, Integration & Verification, and S/W Maintenance. Co-operate with other function teams to make sure the software can be delivered on time with high quality under agile operation mode in Network Management domain.


8 \$ o: ~5 ~& k6 n* mMain Responsibility Areas:
- Overall dev and/or test responsibility of assigned areas (e.g. features)
- Plans, designs and executes items in own area.
. n% Z  X: r3 M+ A+ c- Participate work effort estimation and deliverable review in own area.
- Perform system level problem isolation and resolution (i.e. Apply knowledge and experience to
# A( J5 L% J+ L/ u determine root cause and solution)
- Is responsible for sharing knowledge in his/her expertise area.
- Give input to continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:
, f, E1 ~6 m* H4 e2 @- Solid Java programming knowledge and experience
' D' o6 Q. p  L: }" \3 s- Good DB (e.g. Oracle), Linux/Unix, ClearCase/SVN knowledge and experience
! c3 H, @$ s; a$ H8 M! S; q. m- Agile and Iterative S/W development experience
- y3 F/ {9 i  L+ c+ w. K- Strong system level troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of script languages, like Perl, Shell, Python script
: c4 \$ M6 ^" }- N* A- S/W Testing experience is a plus
- Telecommunication and network management (e.g. TMN, SNMP, Web Service) knowledge is a plus
8 G# U, s: c; P8 O) M& g- (A)TDD and Test automation experience is a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English skill
- z0 M4 m7 O; E  O% }1 s$ f7 r- Master (1+ years’ experience) or Bachelor (1+ years’ experience) degree in S/W engineering, Computer science or Telecommunication
