Trainee Software Engineer

Role of the job holder:
1 m) a% k1 g- L( c& o# Y& f•        Study existing systems
3 v9 V  C8 P% S2 q* u4 d5 W•        Analyze requirements
•        Produce detailed specifications of new / revised system component
5 M' R9 g' e# x* d4 |•        Develop programmes according to specifications, in accordance with Group and Quality standards
2 b  Y# N. R% D* W# E•        Participate in System Testing
•        Participate in the selection, installation and customisation of software packages

) E2 I. B9 G4 ]  {2 s, H' e$ }To be successful, you should meet the following requirements:
# [0 N$ U7 \5 b1 w4 C•        Bachelor degree or above
6 F/ \  J* _5 v% T8 g•        Graduate in Computer Science, IT engineering, Mathematics / Computation or related discipline
; {8 C$ Q9 [3 J# g9 ~" B•        Good command of written and oral English, with a minimum of CET-4 or equivalent English level
4 B  r2 \  b, G6 z0 X+ U7 J( O3 k•        Good interpersonal skills (teamwork skills)
! G3 a: \7 {% _3 [! q: a) ~•        Ability to generate solutions to problems (analytical and logical reasoning skills)
4 ^6 d0 E- l' q6 p•        Preferably having project experience in developing and / or supporting computer applications, OOAD, UML, Java, C++, J2SE/J2EE technology, database programming/administration (Sybase or Oracle), HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux, AS400 (RPG) and/or Mainframe
